Ordering Tips
 
These Tips will help you receive the best "hidden value" from your POS supplies vendor. If you know of additional money saving ideas, let us know and we'll post them here for everyone's benefit.
 
  1. RDS supplies are competitively priced. When comparison shopping, be sure to ask for specifications on the items you intend to purchase. Length of ink ribbons and paper rolls vary by manufacturer/supplier. You might find a better price than we have listed, but it could be a product at half the value!

  2. Quantity purchases can receive quantity discounts. If you are interested in saving money on supplies, contact us. Be sure to indicate your specific interest in the "open inquiry" section of the form.

  3. Don't wait until you are completely out of supplies to place your order, particularly when you anticipate a busy weekend! Establish a minimum stock level, and order regularly.

  4. Did you know that several POS systems use the same printers? Check out the bottom of your printer for a manufacturer name and model number. See Chart below for tips on which supplies you will need, listed by the model number of the printer:

  5. Make sure your supplies vendor is not only reputable, but also provides quality stock. The quality of your ribbon and paper may affect the performance and overall life of your hardware.
